The five-county BIO-1 partnership is named for the Route 1 corridor from Rutgers to Princeton, around which most of CNJ’s biotech firms are clustered.  The CNJ region, comprising Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, and Somerset counties, has received $5 million, available under the Workforce Innovation in Regional Economic Development (WIRED) program from the United States Department of Labor (USDOL). read more

Bio-1 is pleased to announce the first stage launch of our Internship and Job Matching Site.  Employers can post opportunities for jobs, internships, research opportunities and more, and search our resume database of highly targeted applicants from New Jersey.  Applicants can post resumes and search for jobs relevant to the bioscience community.  

A special feature is the Bioscience Skills Inventory, based on the US Department of Labor Employment and Training Administration's Bioscience Competency Model. Applicants can check boxes for the skills they are proficient in, and employers can use these keywords to find applicants with the skills they need.
