RVCC to Host Internship/Mentoring Fair
The Career Services Department of Raritan Valley Community College is planning an Internship/Mentoring Fair to be held on Tuesday, November 4th from 11:30am-2pm. The Fair will take place in the Conference Center at the College.
We are seeking companies that offer *paid internship opportunities which match the degree or certificate programs we offer and to which RVCC students can apply. [*Non-profits offering unpaid positions are eligible to participate in the Internship Fair.] We are also looking for area employers who are interested in serving as mentors / career guides for our students.
RVCC students represent a community of life-long learners who value intellectual achievement, scholarship, diversity of thought, leadership and service to the community. They major in more than 80 academic programs including:
- Science and Biotechnology
- Computer Programming and Computer Networking
- International Business
- Engineering Technologies
- Education
- Web Development
- Graphic Design
- Marketing
- Accounting
- Financial Services
- Communications
- Event Planning/Meeting Management
- and more
Attending companies will be supplied with a 6’ x 3’ table free of charge. A maximum of two representatives from each organization is permitted.

If you would like to post your internship opportunity, in addition to registering for the Fair, please register on the Lion Job Board at: http://www.raritanval.edu/rvcc/frameset/career_services.html. After you submit your contact information, you will be given a password [you supply your own Access ID]. You can then re-enter the system and post positions [subject to approval by RVCC].
Registration forms must be submitted by Friday, October 17th 2008. Unfortunately, late submissions cannot be guaranteed a table.
