Summer Workshops for High School Teachers from Raritan Valley Community College:

August 4th through August 7th from 8:00 a.m. -3:30 p.m.: Protein Purification Workshop for High School Science Teachers - Teachers will learn how to prepare and instruct laboratories in protein expression, purification and modeling. In addition, a general overview of gene expression will be provided.

August 11th through August 14th from 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.: DNA Forensics Workshop for High School Science Teachers - Teachers will prepare and conduct the following laboratories: DNA extraction, restriction digest, Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), gel electrophoresis, determining DNA profiles.
